I watched the live show of the coronation night of Miss America 2008 lastnight where Miss Michigan Kirsten Haglund, a 19-year-old aspiring Broadway star, was crowned Miss America 2008. A lot of people prefer fast food eating more than home dining due to each busy world. It is important to balance our day and make sure that our meals are healthy like fruits and vegetables. It would be nicer if we choose foods less in fats and calories, like picking a grilled or charbroiled rather than fried foods. A regular size order will do. Knight Rider

After reading January 14, 2008 issue of TIME magazine, I learned that the show Knight Rider will return in NBC. Justin Bruening, veteran of the show All my Children will be the lead star. I can't remember the whole show but I know I heard of this show title before. My cousins used to love this show. I was a kid way back then. I might have seen some episodes before because I remember bits and pieces of it and I remember how handsome the lead actor of the show and that pretty car. They said this show was very popular in the eighties with David Hasselhoff steering the talking car. In February, the pilot show will be shown for two hours and they said that the full series will come this fall.

This time, I'm gonna watch and follow the show closely. I am sure this is a pretty show as I can still recall the excitement of my cousins when they were watching the show before.

Wordpress mess

I am fixing up my blog using wordpress and boy! what a pain in the neck. I am not Wordpress savvy. I am way much better messing around tweaking Blogger Templates. It's my first time messing up with Wordpress templates and all its widgets and little details. I have been sitting in front of my pc, trying to figure out the set up. What made it much worst for me is that, I am also self hosting for the first time. I had to face the FTP crap and all. My head is completely puzzled. I have no idea what I am doing. The only good thing is, I still manage to laugh at my work. It's kinda fun but boy! it's really time consuming. For few hours, I managed to reach the wordpress admin and that's where I am now. I have learned to upload Wordpress template using the FTP. I tried modifying my template header and the look of my blog was completely ruined. My side bar went to the bottom, hahaha. I'm a genius. I love myself. So I uploaded the original header back. Now it looks okay but still, I don't know how to add my Google adsense codes, my shoutbox codes and etc. In short, I completely have no clue on how I'd make my sidebar inputs right. I wish it won't take me weeks to figure this out. Where are you wordpress fairy? help your confuse friend.

I am having fun watching this funny show Ugly Betty. I think all the cast of the show are amazing. I especially like Becki Newton playing the character of Amanda and Michael Urie, playing the role of the gay assistant.

I like shows like this. Light Drama and Funny and shows lessons in life. I especially like the how they convey to their viewers that Beauty is far more than just the skin, the face, skin tone or size of a person. No wonder this show won a lot of awards. American Idol tryout

I just finished watching the first show of American Idol, Season 7. I always love watching American Idol from the tryout days up to the final judgment. I love watching how new talents horned and developed throughout the competition and how these ordinary people win the hearts of American audience. I always have a favorite every season and like a typical American Idol audience, I participate in the voting too. Truly their are genuine talents that joined the audition and there were some that were just feeling good. I saw several that have great potentials but its still too early to tell. I was so touched by that sweet girl that was there auditioning with her sick mother. She was such a sweet girl and she sound like a real nice daughter, but like the three judges said, singing career is not for her. It was so nice of Paula, Randy and Simon to go out from the room and meet the mother and told the mother she has such a sweet daughter.

Domain Name

I bought a domain name at godaddy today. I wish to set up a blog but I don't know. I will have to ask my friend who has just set up her blog under her own domain. I am still thinking if it's wise to have my blog self hosted. I'm wondering if the monthly payment would be worth it. I'm thinking of keeping it here in Blogger. I don't have much reader yet anyway or if I do have a lot, I hope you all will speak up. I have my message box for you and you know what? I love to have lots and lots of friends. Even just online friends since I started blogging already and online world is now part of my world. Have a great day everyone!

Cleaning Your Eyeglasses

If you're still planning to buy an eyeglass, purchase a scratch-resistant lenses. Be sure to keep your eyeglasses in a case when not in use and that they are kept in a safe place.

House Care

When a furniture has been sitting on the carpet for a while, it sometimes left a mark or dent in the carpet permanently. It is wise to move bigger and heavier furnitures every now and then. To get rid of the mark, you can leave an ice cube in it. Let it melt and let the carpet dry naturally. After that, vacuum the spot.

Say Thank You

Two words that are often forgotten. Many people forgets to extend this old-time courtesy. Saying "thank you" can save your life. It makes you feel good and focused on the positive things in your life, no matter how small that thing is instead of wallowing on your misery. It would make you value life more, value the people around you, the love and kindness you received everyday. It makes you pro-social, more compassionate and see life in favorable terms. Isn't it wonderful to live life easier than it is? I hope we all practice the art of gratitude.
